Short shorts...NOW!

I really want a pair of black short shorts, that I can wear with tights underneath, some killer heals and a blazer. Here is a little inspiration. I already found a pair I want at Urban Outfitters.

So the 90s - casual and comfortable

Many people have labeled the 90's as an anti-fashion period, which may or may not be correct depending on how you define fashion. In my opinion there was a trend. Some of the key words to identify the period would be minimalistic, casual and comfortable with some carry-on's from the 80s. This was a time when girls and guys dressed the same in flannel shirts, Converse, overalls, boyfriend blazers, vests and lots of denim. Since many of these styles have found their way back 10 years later, I will not hesitate to call the 90s a fashion period. Welcome back!

Second Annual DiverCity Fashion Show: Mile High City Glamour
Hosted By: CatWalk Fashion Club, Johnson & Wales University
February 18th at The Church
Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm

18 and over

Catwalk Fashion Club at Johnson & Wales University is hosting its Second Annual DiverCity Fashion Show on February 18th at The Church Nightclub. This show will feature local designers in order to showcase the diversity of the Denver fashion scene. As a collaborative effort between the featured designers and students at the university, this show will aim to connect Johnson & Wales students with the business and fashion communities of Denver.
University students will work alongside designers to put on a major community event that will serve to promote local designers, stylists, and businesses. Admission for the show will be $20 general admission and $10 for students with valid ID. Dress code will be enforced. All proceeds will go toward the growth of Catwalk, which is in its second year as a recognized student organization (RSO) and allow its members to travel to San Francisco for an educational trip to learn about the West Coast fashion industry.

Join for a night of food, fashion, and fun as we celebrate diversity in fashion and its impact on the Mile High City. Guests must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink.

Goldmine Vintage

When people came out to Colorado they were digging in the mountains for gold. Some of the mines are still there, but they are mostly silver mines. However, in Boulder, North of Denver, I have found my favourite mine at all times. The Goldmine, a vintage boutique with incredible dresses, old blazers and coats, fun jewelry and a nice selection of shoes.

My friend and I went there the other day and she found this amazing blazer

and I found these boots that brings me right back in to my childhood, I absolutely love them. They still have a pair left in purple if you're fast enough!

Visit them at:
