Astis Mittens on Vail TV (and my 1 minute of fame)

I wanted to share this video that was recently showed on Vail8 Tv in Colorado. They made an interview with me about the mittens at the SIA Snow show in Denver back in January. It's really weird to hear yourself speak on camera, and I never realized my broken English accent before, which I find pretty amusing being a Danish native:)
However, my passion for the brand and the company shows, and I do believe everyone should check out the mittens and be ready for the season to come as we all know it will.
Whether you are a skier, a hipster, a grandmother or a rock star these mittens will keep you warm, make you stand out and support an American based company with two great entrepreneurs.

Easy Breezy

Oh My - I cannot stress how much I love white and nude colored dresses, I simply can't get enough of them in Spring/Summer. Pair the white dress with a chunky necklace or some turquoise jewelry and there you have it - you can be out of the door in a second!

For Japan

Japan is still struggling to recover after the terrible earthquake and the tsunami and therefore lots of charities and private companies have kept Japan on their own personal agenda. Dries Van Noten, being one of them, made a t-shirt, which is produced in Japan. All the profits will be used to support the Red Cross in Japan.
An optimistic design of a Phoneix-like sun rising on a new day over Japan is the theme. The T-shirt will be available in selected shops worldwide as of tomorrow.

Speaking of...
On behalf of my Danish readers I want to let you know that one of my friends, Christina Kousgaard Hansen, who currently work and live in Japan also started a charity which is open for donations. Please make a difference and visit their website www.hjaelpjapan.nu

Imagine...

Goodmorning, Sunday it is. Everyone has been updating their facebook statuses saying that the world will end...Imagine that! Well if that's really the case, then we have one last shot to make peace in the world before that happens!
John Lennon was inspired by Yoko Ono to write the song Imagine. She had written a poem called cloud piece and from there the song began, both with the same meaning and imagination: we are all one country, one world, one people. Can you imagine that?

Cloud Piece
Imagine the clouds dripping
Dig a holde in your garden to
put them in.
